A TRD internship offers students the potential for valuable learning opportunities outside the classroom within a close, fast paced, goal-oriented environment. As an intern at TRD, you will be considered an integral part of the team and will be provided with tasks that are both technically challenging and educationally stimulating.
You will:
Gain new experiences related to your major Apply classroom learning through hands-on applications Network with professionals in your field of interest Test drive a career and get a better grasp of your goals and interests Expand your technical skills Students will be assigned to teams most related to their field of study and gain exposure to the many facets of motorsports, including: Aerodynamics Chassis engineering CNC programming Engine design and development Engine production Manufacturing Simulation Positions may be in: Costa Mesa, CA or Salisbury, NC A successful candidate will: Be actively enrolled in a full-time, accredited bachelor's or above degree program studying one of the following disciplines: Automotive Technology Computer Science Manufacturing Engineering Mechanical Engineering Be a Junior or Senior with a cumulative 3.0 GPA or higher Be able to work a 12-week summer internship Have excellent written and verbal communication skills Have working knowledge of computer application software Be able to work independently with minimal supervision The annual base salary range for this position is $56,400.00 - $91,700.00.
