You will play a key role in developing electromechanical test systems for hardware validation, and ensuring that the Touch Technology team delivers the world's best multi-touch user experience. Description You will design and implement test setups and procedures to automate validation of capacitive touch sensing modules. This can include custom PCBs and mechanical fixtures, as well as robotic systems. You'll be capable of analyzing the requirements of an evolving product portfolio, working closely with a cross-functional team of engineering disciplines, while identifying opportunities to define a common testing approach where possible.","responsibilities":"Develop testing infrastructure to validate touchscreen performance of new Apple devices, using standard lab test equipment and custom hardware as needed. Minimum Qualifications Proficient in the use of solid modeling tools such as NX, SolidWorks, or Fusion 360. Low-volume prototyping (laser cutter, 3D printer, drill press, hand tools). Familiarity with basic analog electronics concepts such as noise, EMI, filters and grounding Minimum requirement of a bachelors degree. Pay & Benefits At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $126,800 and $220,900, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
