What to Expect Consider beforesubmittingan application: This position is expected to start around January 2027 and continue through the entire Spring term (endingapproximately May 2027or later, if available). We ask for a minimum of12 weeks, full-time (40 hours/week) and on-site, for most internships. Our internship program is for students who are actively enrolled in an academic program.

The Mechatronics team at Teslais responsible fordesigning mechanisms for the vehicle's exterior surfaces. Our work is highly customer-facing and cosmetic, while also involving the integration of various sensors and actuators to achieve our design goals. Strong fundamentals in mechanical and electrical engineering arerequiredfor this position. What You'll Do

Developing 3D CAD and Engineering Drawing for mechanisms

Testing and characterization of Sensors and Actuators

Debugging and Root cause analysis

Hands on assembly of printed or machined parts What You'll Bring

Currently pursuing a degree in MechatronicsEngineeringor a related field

Experience in CADand3D Modeling

Previousexperience insensors and electronics

Proven interest in hands on engineering through project teams, academic projects, passion projects, or equivalent experiences

Strong knowledge of engineering fundamentals

Expected Compensation

$20.00 - $50.00 + benefits Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
