Job Description

Join our mechanical engineering team to design, prototype, and validate precision structures for dexterous robotic hands and humanoid systems. You will work closely with actuators, transmissions, fixtures, and integrated assemblies in a fast-moving hardware development environment.
Requirements:
Pursuing a BS or MS in Mechanical Engineering, Robotics, or a related field. Strong foundation in engineering first principles, mechanics, and design for manufacturability. Proficiency with CAD software for complex part and assembly design, such as SolidWorks or Fusion 360. Hands-on experience building and testing prototypes quickly. Strong communication and collaboration skills in a cross-functional hardware team. (+) Experience with machining, rapid prototyping, or precision manufacturing. (+) Experience with actuators and geartrains, including strain-wave, planetary, cycloidal, or ball-screw systems. (+) Exposure to electromechanical integration: sensors, motors, motor drivers, wiring, and communication buses. (+) Prior experience taking a mechanical product from concept to production.

Career Growth:
Strong potential for full-time conversion after the internship. Design structural and precision components for robotic hands and humanoid systems. Create assemblies, drawings, and release-ready documentation for prototypes and manufactured parts. Develop and build custom fixtures and jigs for assembly, test, and characterization. Test mechanisms and integrated systems; support debugging, tuning, and performance validation. Drive design iterations from test feedback, failure analysis, and manufacturing constraints. Interview process:
two technical interviews and one CEO interview.
