Job Description
Requirements:
Pursuing a BS or MS in Mechanical Engineering, Robotics, or a related field. Strong foundation in engineering first principles, mechanics, and design for manufacturability. Proficiency with CAD software for complex part and assembly design, such as SolidWorks or Fusion 360. Hands-on experience building and testing prototypes quickly. Strong communication and collaboration skills in a cross-functional hardware team. (+) Experience with machining, rapid prototyping, or precision manufacturing. (+) Experience with actuators and geartrains, including strain-wave, planetary, cycloidal, or ball-screw systems. (+) Exposure to electromechanical integration: sensors, motors, motor drivers, wiring, and communication buses. (+) Prior experience taking a mechanical product from concept to production.Health Insurance:

Strong potential for full-time conversion after the internship. Design structural and precision components for robotic hands and humanoid systems. Create assemblies, drawings, and release-ready documentation for prototypes and manufactured parts. Develop and build custom fixtures and jigs for assembly, test, and characterization. Test mechanisms and integrated systems; support debugging, tuning, and performance validation. Drive design iterations from test feedback, failure analysis, and manufacturing constraints.
