Interns and co-op students will work closely with full time engineers, contributing to impactful projects that support Westmag's mission to innovate in drone motor manufacturing. Role Description Work alongside the engineering team on the design, modeling, and testing of drone motors and robot actuators. Support CAD work, design iterations, simulation, and analysis, and help evaluate prototypes. Contribute to engineering documentation, design reviews, and research tasks as assigned. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to bring motor and actuator designs from concept toward production. Eligibility & Qualifications Currently enrolled in an Engineering undergraduate or graduate program. Strong interest in robotics, drone technology, manufacturing, or technology startups. Previous internship or project-based student org experience (Formula SAE, Rocketry, Design Build Fly, etc.) Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Good communication skills and willingness to learn. Basic knowledge of relevant tools or software (CAD, PCB layout tools, embedded programming, data analysis, etc.). Authorized to work in the United States for the duration of the internship/co-op period.
