Job Description
Additional Skills & Qualifications Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and test engine control software for various fuel compositions and environments.
- Conduct studies to identify and implement new sensors and actuators in both R D and field testing applications.
- Implement improved fault detection and accommodation logic to improve reliability and uptime.
- Oversee installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting of engine reformers at new field sites, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
- Collaborate with internal teams, clients, and supplier engineers to ensure successful integration and operation of engine reformer control systems.
- Provide technical support, expert advice, and training on engine control-related issues to clients and colleagues.
- Lead or participate in safety and risk assessment studies related to engine software design and operation.
- Prepare and review technical documentation, including performance data, software builds, wiring diagrams. Required Qualifications
- BS in Mechanical Engineering, or related disciplines; 3.0 GPA or above.
- Hands-on engine calibration and testing experience.
- Experience integrating controls software and hardware into complex systems.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Proficiency in engineering analysis tools and software (e.g., AutoCAD, MS Office Suite)
- Willingness to travel to various M2X design and manufacturing sites, as well as field test locations.
- 2+ years of professional experience. Preferred Qualifications
- 3.5 GPA or above.
- MS/PhD in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering or related disciplines.
- Track record of working in a team setting to develop and deliver engineering solutions.
- 3-5 years of professional experience in engine calibration and CAN communication.
- Experience with in-cylinder pressure measurement systems and other high speed DAQ.
