Job Description

Responsible for the detailed design of new customer and/or internal product developments as well as establishing the Mechatronic system requirements and mechatronic architectural design together with all stakeholders, which includes Quality, Purchasing, Software Engineering, Power Electronics Engineering, eMotor Engineering, Project Management, Program Management, OEM Engineering, and the internal cross functional engineering team. Ensure overall mechatronic system integration and release through coordinating efforts across the power electronic, eMotor, software, and validation teams for the eBeam and/or other eDrive products. Design, develop, and problem resolution of new and existing eDrive products in parallel with the Mechanical Systems Engineering, and Systems Architect. Cascade of specifications from system to components and delivery of product designs to the specifications. Collaborate with other engineering disciplines to define detailed design, analysis, validation and verification, and overall specification releases. Responsible for on time design release of system, sub-system, and components, for the Inverter, eMotor, and software throughout the product development cycle, including, but not limited to acquisition, serial development, and production support. Track design status, reports progress, and escalates issues/delays to project development and project management team.
