Job Description
Job Summary We need a mechanical engineer with significant experience working with discrete electronics and 3D printing. Responsibilities include fixing and upgrading various electrical equipment as well as develop new pieces of equipment "Maker" style. We have a full machine shop, electronics workbench and a 3D printer. There is substantial scope for doing mechatronics and ad hoc robotics in this position. Duties Design and build mechanical devices Design and build electronic and mechatronic systems Diagnose problems with electronics equipment. Build one off electronic solutions with discrete components Qualifications Has completed signficant mechanical projects and built working machines 3D printing Experience working with older electronics equipment and discrete components.
