Job Description

Title:
Engineering Technology/Technician Lumacurve Airfield Signs is a third generation family-owned manufacturer of FAA approved airfield guidance signage. We help provide a safe and efficient air travel experience for passengers around the country. We take pride in our integrity, empathy, work ethic, and ability to meet our customers' needs in a dynamic and demanding industry. You'll be working on projects that make a difference at giants like Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta and Chicago O'Hare as well as local airports like Cleveland Hopkins. The Job - full time, in person. Seeking a motivated entry-level Engineering Technologist/Technician to support our team in Macedonia, OH. The role provides exposure to the aviation industry, product development, manufacturing engineering, facility engineering, and equipment maintenance.
The Ideal Candidate:
Hardworking, hands-on, and dependable, with strong interpersonal skills. Willing to learn new skills on the fly. You should be highly resourceful, using logic to figure out unfamiliar systems. Prefer someone with practical, hands-on experience repairing equipment, backed by a solid theoretical understanding of how mechanical systems function. You should be proactive thinker, spotting potential maintenance/operational problems before they happen, ready to take action immediately. You must be comfortable tackling a wide variety of technical tasks on a daily basis.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain, improve, and design manufacturing processes. Assist with implementing facility engineering projects and improving assembly lines. Create G-code for CNC machines to improve automation.
Preferred Skills & Experience:
CAD/CAM software for CNC operation (preferably experience with DN Lathes and Mills) Mechanical repair and troubleshooting Electrical/electronics Plumbing Combustion systems Assembly line operations
