Key Responsibilities:
Teaching engineering-related courses and perhapsassist in a Physics lab Help develop and continuously improve lectures and labs Mentor students in capstoneprojects Establish relationships with local industry and lead or co-lead student projects Help manage labs and equipmentto support academic programs Assist in recruitment of students into the Engineering Technology program and activities that assistin retention of current students. Assist in outreach efforts on and off campus with K-12 students and community organizations Work with colleagues and students across regional campuses and with partners in the

Job Requirements:
Degree in Engineering Technology or Electrical,Industrial, Mechanical Engineering. Masters or PhD required. Professional certifications would be advantageous 5+ years industryhands-on experience preferred, to bring real-world perspective into the classroom Teaching or training, including public speakingexperience. Communication skills and leadership qualities suitable for working closely with students in an educationalenvironment Strong competency/experience in two or more of the following areas: Integration of automation systems Programming languages, such as Matlab, Python, and/or C++ CAD or other modeling software Six Sigma, preferablyMaster Black Belt Manufacturing processes, industrial automation, and industry best practices Ability to assist withPhysics lab instruction Instructors will teach in an interdisciplinary major.
