DIS - Workforce Center of Excellence Requisition #: req13738 Outside working hours if other than M-F 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.: Schedule can include evening and/or weekends Job Summary and Description Position responsible for teaching Continuing Education classes. Continuing Education Instructors are hired in a part-time capacity contingent upon the needs of the department. Classes are offered during daytime, evenings, and weekends as well as some College holidays. Classes are offered at various times and locations during the academic year.
Qualifications Minimum Education & Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent (GED). Three (3) years of work experience in industrial automation, electrical, mechanical, or mechatronic systems maintenance. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proficient in internet use and Microsoft 365 applications, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
Preferred Education and Experience:
3-5 years of experience in industrial automation, electrical, mechanical, or mechatronic systems installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaing industrial equipment including motor controls, mechanical drives, fluid power (hydraulics/pneumatics), PLCs, and robotics. EEO Statement
