Job Description

Electrical Project Engineer - 12+ Month Contract - Fort Wayne, IN area (On-site) Project Management skills required Overall coordination of engineering deliverables for a project from all engineering contributors on the project team, to include the following: Engineering estimates including equipment, installation labor, design and startup engineering, travel, and managing project actual cost evolution. Project schedule including design engineering, procurement, installation, startup, qualification. Equipment procurement including specifications for RFQ process, purchase order, tracking supplier progress and managing equipment acceptance at the supplier. Contributing to equipment safety & ergonomic risk assessment evaluation with the receiving plant Organizing onsite equipment reception, installation, startup, ramp up including managing customer acceptance criteria with the receiving plant. They are looking for someone with 4+ years minimum of experience with the following: Bachelors in Electromechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent technical experience Preferred 4+ years of Engineering Experience Experience with electrical design standards and able to complete controls systems designs using standard CAD design tools and SEE electric experience Preferred. Experience with Rockwell PLC programming standards & programming software, including GRAFCET, Ladder Logic, and Structured Text. Specific experience with Siemens is a plus. Experience with Variable Frequency drives and Motion Control technologies. Specific experience with Control Techniques, SEW MOVIMOT, and Rockwell, is a plus. Experience with HMI PanelView Knowledge of FactoryTalkView, ME Studio would be very helpful. Configuration, programming, and communication. Specific experience with Rockwell is a plus. Experience with controls systems network interfaces and various protocols for communications between devices including computer system databases. Our systems are Data-Highway +, ControlNet, and Ethernet protocols. Experience in Project Team Leadership or Project Management Vision System configuration and interface for width measurement applications and defect detection applications is preferred but not required. Specific experience with Cognex, Keyence, Adept, Bytewise, Gocator is a plus. Robotic experience, configuration or knowledge is preferred but not required. Specific experience with Fanuc, ABB is a plus. #

$50.00 - $60.00 per hour
