Job Description

We are seeking Mine Engineer /Civil Engineer/Geotechnical Engineer and Geology Interns at Minnesota Ore Operations . The Internship affords the opportunity to apply educational experiences to real world engineering principals. This position is a temporary full-time position for the summer of 2027 and will be located at our mine operations in Mountain Iron, MN and Keewatin, MN. At these facilities, iron-bearing rock called taconite is mined and processed into iron ore pellets for use in U. S. Steel's steelmaking facilities.
