Engineer 1, 2, or 3
Ventilation Location:
East Boulder MineMcLeod, MT Schedule:
5x2, 4x3- 9-hour days
Job Responsibilities and Duties:
Maintain and manage the Ventilation system at the Stillwater Mine- primary and secondary.
- coordinate the preparation and presentation.
Qualifications and Skills:
Required:
Leadership qualities including character, teamwork, communication, business sense and vision. Familiarity with mine ventilation principles. Strong computer skills in AutoCAD, Excel, and Word. Well-developed verbal and written communication skills. Basic understanding of MSHA regulations. Proven ability to work within a team-based environment. Working knowledge and experience with mine modelling software. Working knowledge and understanding of cost and schedule variance.Preferred:
Working knowledge of ventilation modelling software.Education and Experience:
BS in Mine Engineering or equivalent with 1-5 years engineering experience or 7-8 years equivalent working experience- preferred Sibanye-Stillwater is an equal opportunity employer.
