DNR Vinton 29371 Wheelabout Road McArthur 45651 9900 Brick Church Rd, Cambridge, Ohio 43725 2045 Morse Rd Service Road, Columbus, OH 43229 We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Construction, Civil, Mining, Environmental Engineer, or Professional Engineer (PE) to join our innovative team . This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead complex projects across construction, civil infrastructure, mining operations, and environmental initiatives. The ideal candidate will bring a proactive approach to project management, system design, and technical troubleshooting while ensuring compliance with building codes and safety standards. You will be instrumental in driving sustainable development and operational excellence through your expertise in engineering principles, project scheduling, and cross-disciplinary collaboration. Responsibilities Lead the planning, design, and execution of construction and civil engineering projects, ensuring adherence to project timelines and budgets Conduct root cause analysis to troubleshoot engineering issues related to mechanical systems, environmental controls, or structural components Utilize CAD software such as AutoCAD and SolidWorks for detailed 3D modeling of product designs and mechanical systems Develop and review schematics, building information modeling (BIM) tools, and technical drawings to support construction and manufacturing processes Perform building code analysis and ensure compliance with local regulations and safety standards including fire protection systems and building code requirements Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams on system design, project management, and cross-functional communication to optimize project outcomes Collect data through laboratory testing or field inspections for research purposes; analyze results using MATLAB or Python for informed decision-making Oversee construction activities with hands-on experience in construction management, including scheduling, resource allocation, and quality assurance Apply engineering troubleshooting techniques to resolve system failures or design flaws promptly Conduct site inspections utilizing 3D scanners or other advanced tools to verify construction accuracy and quality control Skills Proficiency in project scheduling software and tools for effective timeline management Strong root cause analysis capabilities combined with excellent problem-solving skills Expertise in CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and BIM tools for detailed design work Knowledge of manufacturing processes, mechanical design principles, and systems engineering practices Experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), scripting languages like Python or
C++, MATLAB
for data analysis and automation tasks Familiarity with civil engineering standards including building code compliance and GDT (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) practices Hands-on experience in construction environments with a focus on safety protocols and quality standards Ability to perform research, data collection, schematic development, and laboratory testing within engineering projects Strong communication skills for effective collaboration across teams in multidisciplinary settings Practical knowledge of fire protection systems, structural schematics, 3D modeling for product design, and building information modeling (BIM) tools Join us if you're passionate about engineering innovation!
