Key Accountabilities Promote and demonstrate safe behavior at all times Demonstrate effective performance in achieving agreed CHESS goals in support of the department, site and company standards Participate in daily crew safety meetings Participate in daily activities with the Engineering team, including data compilation, validation, and preparation of daily production reports. Conduct regular underground surveys of development headings; install laser and survey stations. Create and update various CAD drawings, primarily related to lateral development, ground support, and construction. Perform ventilation surveys and assist in preparing related reports. Support the short-term planning lead with planning-related tasks. Contribute to special projects aligned with business needs. Liaise with other members of the operational and technical team.
Qualifications / Requirements
Currently Enrolled in a Mining Engineering Program in either your 2nd or 3rd year. Current Driver's License. Computer literacy Microsoft Office (extensive excel skills is a requirement). Demonstrate ability to maintain or exceed best industry practice in all engineering tasks. Awareness of the Mine Safety and Health Administration (MSHA) Act & Regulations. Be able to pass a background check and post offer physical.
