This role will be based in the United States, with a preference for candidates located in or around Salt Lake City, Utah, or Seattle, Washington. Other US locations may be considered for the right candidate. The position offers the opportunity to work with leading North American mining operations, with potential opportunities to support projects across Canada, and Australia in the future.Key Responsibilities:
Assist clients with on-site production engineering requirements Assist clients with on-site short to medium term planning & scheduling requirements Complete various development designs as required Assist in developing & implementing systems and processes to various mining operations Complete stope design & optimisation work Complete D&B design or planning work remotely Assist AMPS Senior Consultants with Client technical department optimisations & system implementations Why AMPS? Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering US working rights are essentialExperience:
2-5+ years of mining engineering roles in production or planning based rolesTechnical Skills:
Strong understanding of Drill & Blast, mine planning concepts and operational performance of underground mines Proficient in Deswik CAD packages. Drill and Blast and scheduler considered an asset Mine scheduling experience considered an assetCommunication:
Clear written and verbal communication skills with well-developed interpersonal skills.Safety & Quality:
