Updated 08/31/2026 Job Description Job Summary LAUNCH Defense is seeking a highly experienced T38 APG Crew Chief Mechanics. The T-38 Aircraft Maintenance APG Crew Chief III maintains all aspects of the T-38 aircraft, support equipment, and forms and records. This role performs crew chief, repair and reclamation, quality assurance, maintenance support functions, sortie generation, ground handling, and servicing operations. In addition, they will be responsible for performing aircraft inspections such as preflight, thru-flight, postflight, hourly postflight, special inspections, and isochronal inspections. They will also, advise on problems, maintenance, servicing, and inspection of aircraft and related aerospace equipment using technical data to diagnose and solve maintenance problems on aircraft systems.
