Job Description

We have openings for NDT's to work in the new LSAW Plant that is being constructed right now and will go live later this year, 2026!! See below the types of NDT's we are currently hiring for: UT (ultrasonic testing, level I and II) - 3 openings RT (radiography testing, level I and II) - 2 openings Welspun's Little Rock facilities are state-of-the-art and are one of their kinds in technology for producing pipes for oil and gas. The Spiral mill has diversified sizes ranging from 24 to 60 inches as outer diameter (OD) and 0.23 to 1 inch as wall thickness (WT), as well as coating and double jointing capabilities, our facilities provide a one-stop solution to valued oil and gas customers in and around the United States. The HFIW 24" mill is a fully automatic and integrated mill capable of producing pipes ranging in diameter 6 5/8th inch to 24" and wall thickness from 0.158" to 0.551" in. We will be expanding to add an LSAW pipe mill for additional manufacturing capabilities which will be discussed in the interview. The new LSAW mill is expected to go live by September of 2026!! The Arkansas facilities employ more than 800 people and will be looking to employ 1200 plus employees with all new plant expansion. People are our differentiator. Job Summary:
Ensuring steel plant production, inspection & testing activities are performed. Reviewing of station report & test data.
Duties & Responsibilities:
To assist in establish and maintain NDT quality management system To ensure that all plan production, inspection & testing are performed as per approved Quality Assurance Plan (QAP), processes charts & work Inspection in their shift ensure the uses of calibrated instrument and equipment in the process & lab. review calibration of Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) equipment and verification of calibration of measuring instrument. witness and ensure welding and test parameter are as per approved Welding Procedure Specification (WPS) & Procedure Qualification Record (PQR) and approved work instruction. Education and/or
Experience:
1-5 years of experience in Metallurgy /Mechanical or Science; 1-5 years of experience of Inspection & Quality Control activities in Pipe/steel or heavy metal industries. Ability to read and interpret documents such as
API, ASME
, American Society of Test Material (ASTM) & other cods/Standard /specification, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization Should have excellent command over computer operating software such as MS power point, Excel, Minitab & Systems, Applications & Products in Data Processing (SAP).
