Travel Responsibilities:
Conduct inspections of piping, structural steel, welds, pressure vessels, and coatings to ensure adherence to project standards and codes. Review welding procedures, qualifications, and related documentation for compliance. Coordinate and oversee nondestructive testing activities such as ultrasonic, radiographic, and magnetic particle testing. Maintain accurate records of inspection reports, test results, and quality documentation. Evaluate subcontractor capabilities and ensure quality standards are met throughout project execution. Travel Qualifications:
At least four years of experience in industrial construction environments. Active Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) certification required. Knowledge of industry codes such as ASME, AWS, API, and others. Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and quality documentation. Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills. Ability to work effectively in a field setting, with physical ability to lift materials, navigate active sites, and work shifts up to 12 hours.
