This role is responsible for ensuring welding quality, compliance, and performance across process piping and structural steel operations. The ideal candidate will have strong inspection experience, technical expertise, and the ability to uphold strict quality and safety standards. What You'll Be Doing Inspect welds (root, fill, and cap) to ensure quality and compliance Perform inspections on GTAW, SMAW, GMAW, and FCAW welds Conduct inspections for both process piping and structural welding Maintain and manage welding logbooks to track welder performance and quality trends Identify performance issues and support retraining initiatives Recommend removal of welders who consistently fail to meet quality standards Utilize inspection tools such as calipers, bridge cam gauges, fillet gauges, steel rules, and borescopes Perform and interpret UT (Ultrasonic Testing) and MT (Magnetic Testing) Collaborate with project teams to ensure adherence to quality and safety standards What We're Looking For Current AWS CWI certification required Must hold AWS B31.1 and D1.1 certifications at a minimum At least 4 years of prior hands-on welding experience Clean drug screen and background check required

Preferred Qualifications:

3+ years of active welding inspection experience in addition to welding background Experience with process piping and/or structural steel welding inspections Experience inspecting stainless steel process piping welds Experience inspecting structural steel welds

Schedule:
