A Non-Destructive Testing Specialist uses ultrasonic, electromagnetic, thermal or liquid penetration tests to check structures or materials for cracks, defects or signs of corrosion. May work on large structures such as bridges, dams or pipelines, or check vehicles such as aircraft. Interprets and reports on test results that include images and measurements; maintains and calibrates equipment.

AEROSPACE EXPERIENCE NEEDED / NAS 410 CERTIFICATIONS REQUIRED TO BE CONSIDERED
•You should know / have some of the following: Current level 2 certification in radiography meeting National Aerospace Standard (NAS) 410. Previous radiography training and experience must include a minimum of 80 hours formal classroom education, 800 hours radiography experience, and 1600 hours nondestructive testing experience. Possess the skills and knowledge to setup and calibrate equipment, conduct tests, interpret, evaluate, and document findings without supervision. Demonstrate the ability to apply geometric, trigonometric and algebraic relationships.
