QC NDT Inspector Location:
Orlando, FL Pay Rate:
$24- $28 /hour
Shift:
1st (6AM- 4PM) or 3rd Shift (10:30 PM
- 7AM)
Schedule:
Monday-Friday | Occasional Saturday OT (optional)Employment Type:

All new hires will initially train on 1st shift for 3-6 months before transitioning to their assigned shift. Position Overview We are seeking an experienced NDT Inspector to join a high‑precision service and manufacturing facility. This role is responsible for performing nondestructive testing on high‑value components to ensure product integrity, safety, and compliance with strict engineering and quality standards. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a mission‑driven environment focused on safety, quality, and innovation. A Day in the Life Review work instructions, engineering drawings, and acceptance criteria to determine appropriate NDT methods and inspection sequences Perform receiving, in-process, and final inspections of materials, piece parts, subassemblies, and assemblies against acceptance criteria defined by internal procedures, customer requirements, applicable standards, regulatory requirements, and engineering drawings. Set up, calibrate, and verify NDT equipment including penetrant systems, magnetic particle benches, radiography/X‑ray systems, borescopes, and dimensional tools Perform inspections using FPI), magnetic particle testing, X‑ray/radiography, and visual/dimensional methods Detect and evaluate cracks, porosity, incomplete welds, leaks, and internal defects Interpret inspection indications against engineering specifications and customer requirements Document inspection results accurately and prepare clear NDT reports Communicate inspection findings with Engineering and Quality teams Support internal and external audits by maintaining complete and compliant inspection documentation Perform daily system checks and TPMs such as UV light intensity checks, bath concentration checks, MT amperage verification, and radiography system readiness Qualifications Hands‑on experience performing FPI and MT inspections X‑ray / radiography experience preferred Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety Ability to work independently in a regulated, high‑standards environment Preferred (Not Required) Familiarity with AS9100 andISO 9001
Strong documentation and quality control discipline Experience maintaining inspection records, traveler documentation, equipment IDs, calibration logs, and traceability Previous work under written practices aligned withASNT SNT
‑TC‑1A or NAS‑410 Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Orlando, FL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $24.98- $24.98/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
