Fixed Equipment Inspector Georgia Pacific life insurance, parental leave, paid time off United States, Georgia, Rincon Jul 25, 2026 Your Job Georgia Pacific in Rincon, GA is recruiting for a Fixed Equipment Inspector. This role will require a dayshift schedule but may include nights, weekends, holidays and overtime. Compensation in this role will be commensurate with experience. The schedule in this role will be Monday - Friday 7am to 3:30pm. Work hours are subject to change based on business need. Our Team Our Savannah River Mill in Rincon, GA began operations in October 1986 and is considered a world-class operation in the industry. Five of the world's 12 largest tissue paper machines reside at the facility. Our operation is designed to produce products primarily from recycled fiber. We have over 50 converting lines that make the tissue, towel, and napkin products in our retail and away from home markets. Help assist or operate machinery to expected performance levels
Assist crew members and work team environment

Demonstrate leadership or potential leadership skills
- Work with the site MI Coordinator and contractors to implement and follow-up on proactive inspection programs that identify possible failures before they occur
- Work with site maintenance, contractors, and engineers
- Perform hands-on inspection of storage tanks, pressure vessels, pressure piping, and relief devices in the mill
- This position requires climbing, confined space entry, and the use of Non-Destructive Testing equipment and techniques
- Responsibilities include obtaining inspection knowledge and executing inspections on: o Storage tanks (per API 653) and Tile/Concrete Tanks o Pressure Vessels (ASME section VIII & I, per API 510) o Piping (per API 570) and others CPVC, HDPE, etc. o Safety Relief Devices (ASME code and non-code)
- Demonstrate moderate level computer skills.
