1st Shift - Mig Welder

$16.50 Express is pleased to announce that we have partnered with a local Sheet Metal Contractor in Watseka, IL and they are looking for MIG Welders!

Shifts:

M-S:

6am-4:30pm

Essential Duties & Responsibilities Include :

Set-up & operate welder in a safe manner

• Advise supervisor of faulty operations
• Read route sheets, verify counts, & record operations performed on router
• the First piece & last piece inspection & every 20th piece (first piece, 20, 40, 60, etc. & the last one)
• Fill out a green tag for EVERY work order
• Perform hourly weld tests
• Ability to stand, walk, crouch, and use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, and controls.

Qualifications:

Prior experience and ability to pass a weld test.

Evaluation Hire after 720 hours/ - good attendance and performance. 16-18 weeks, 72 days, 4 Months (Roughly) (Equation is from working 10-hour shifts consistently) Health, Vision, and Dental Insurance.
