Job Description
Tasks:
- Perform Non-Destructive testing on Railcar Tank Cars.
- Interpret drawings, read procedures, and interpret welding symbols.
- Complete detailed reports in PDF, Excel, and Word format.
Skills:
- Be able to use NDT Equipment (Ex, Epoch 600, Epoch 650, Epoch 6LT, Olympus 45MG, Magnetic Yoke, Everest XL Pro Video Scope
- Familiar with PDF, Word, Excel
- Able to stand for long periods of time with limited breaks.
- Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds and team lifts up to 150 pounds.
- Work in extreme temperatures and elements for an extended period of time.
- Must be able to work in confined spaces.
- Must be able to work at elevated heights.
- Must be able to read and comprehend basic drawings and the scope of work.
- Must possess basic math skills, including addition and subtraction.
Qualities:
- Must be able to pass a Visual Acuity Exam and Color contrast exam or Shades of Gray Exam.
