3005085567-2 Apply for this job now Job Description Cargill is seeking a Boiler Utility Technician to support safe, efficient operation of boiler and utility systems at our manufacturing facility. In this role, you will operate, monitor, and maintain boilers, steam and condensate systems, compressed air, and related utilities to support continuous food production. Responsibilities include performing inspections, water testing and treatment, routine and corrective maintenance, and accurate recordkeeping. You'll collaborate closely with production and maintenance teams, follow rigorous safety and environmental standards, and contribute to reliability and energy efficiency improvements in a culture that values integrity, learning, and innovation. Responsibilities Operate and monitor industrial boilers, steam systems, and plant utilities to support continuous manufacturing operations. Perform routine inspections, water quality testing, and chemical treatment to ensure safe and efficient boiler performance. Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance on boilers, piping, pumps, valves, and related utility equipment. Respond to alarms and equipment issues, troubleshoot root causes, and coordinate repairs to minimize downtime. Maintain accurate logs, records, and CMMS entries for inspections, maintenance, and regulatory compliance. Follow all safety, environmental, and food safety standards, including lockout/tagout and confined space procedures. Collaborate with production, maintenance, and safety teams to support reliability and energy efficiency initiatives.
