A Non-Destructive Testing Specialist uses ultrasonic, electromagnetic, thermal or liquid penetration tests to check structures or materials for cracks, defects or signs of corrosion. May work on large structures such as bridges, dams or pipelines, or check vehicles such as aircraft. Interprets and reports on test results that include images and measurements; maintains and calibrates equipment.

Full Job Description Duties:

Set up and calibrate non-destructive testing equipment. Conduct tests with appropriate NDT techniques. Interpret, evaluate, and document results With respect to applicable codes and standards. Report writing. Not required but a plus if certified in other methods such as

PT/MT/VT/UT

Instruct and supervise others Valid Drivers License Must be able to lift 50 lbs Must be willing to travel Position has possibility for growth into a bigger role.
