8 hours a day, 40 hours per week Position Responsibilities The NDI Technician will be responsible for using analysis techniques to evaluate the properties of materials, components, and systems without causing damage . The role will utilize Non-Destructive Inspection methods to verify that parts and processes meet customer engineering requirements.
NDI Methods May Include:
Ultrasonic Testing (UT) Phased Array Ultrasonic Testing (PAUT) Pulse-Echo Shear Wave Through-Transmission Liquid Penetrant Testing Magnetic Particle Testing Thermography Shearography Eddy Current Radiography Primary focus for this position: Ultrasonic Testing. Level II Responsibilities For candidates performing Level II responsibilities, duties include: Set up and standardize NDI equipment. Process parts using approved NDI procedures. Perform ultrasonic inspections and evaluations. Interpret inspection results. Evaluate results for acceptance or rejection. Document inspection results accurately. Establish inspection techniques using approved general procedures or work instructions. Submit techniques for final approval as required. Conduct system performance checks in accordance with applicable process standards. Provide guidance and/or supervision to NDI trainees. Perform audit surveillance of NDI processes. Identify, initiate, and document non-conformances according to applicable specifications, processes, and procedures.
