Job Description

For over 25 years Harvard NDE has been providing cost-effective inspection and testing services across various industries throughout the United States. Our experienced team specializes in assessing corrosion, evaluating steel fatigue, identifying structural discrepancies, and determining lifespan. We serve the power boiler and HRSG sectors, as well as the pulp-to-paper, waste-to-energy, maritime, aerospace, and other fabrication industries. Harvard NDE, has the following Full time, positions open: Level II Inspectors
NEW ENGLAND REGION
(MA, CT, RI, VT, NH, ME, PA)
Position Summary:
Harvard NDE is currently looking for experienced and dependable individuals to join our team as Level II Technicians to support our current projects. The NDT Technician will be responsible for performing specific calibrations, Nondestructive Tests, and evaluations for acceptance or rejection determinations. We are looking for someone with 4+ years of experience to support our boiler outage inspection teams. Most of the work is in New England and the Mid Atlantic, but we travel nationwide.
Responsibilities include:
Set up, calibrate, and utilize Nondestructive Test equipment - primarily Ultrasound machines - DSM GO+ Dye Penetrant and Magnet Particle Testing Condition Assessment and Visual Inspections Record results of inspections and write reports Candidates Must possess the following, required: Documented training hours.
PT/VT/UT/MT/PAUT
Documented OJT hours. Driver license Must be able to pass Harvard NDE's practical, general knowledge & specific exam to qualify under our procedures. Education and Experience High School Diploma or equivalent 4 years in Industrial Power Boilers, Piping or Pulp Mill Technical background desired College or NDE Classroom experience Desired Competencies Level
II PT/VT/UT/MT/PAUT
