Fiber Optic Field Technician (Independent Contractor)

Compensation:
$1,500 - $4,000+ per week (Earnings depend on state, production speed, experience, and workload. Top technicians may earn more.) Job Overview Real Future Communication LLC is actively seeking energetic, dependable, and motivated individuals for the position of Fiber Optic Field Technician / Cable Technician . This is an excellent opportunity for independent contractors and small business owners looking to build a long-term career in the telecommunications industry. We especially welcome applicants who already operate as a Sole Proprietor LLC and own a vehicle and tools , although experience is not required. If you are hardworking, responsible, and ready to learn, we will train you from the ground up. You must have a valid Driver license. We proudly work with United States Citizens and individuals who are not U.S. citizens but possess valid work authorization (EAD) . Basic English is required for communication with customers and supervisors. We are highly receptive to Eastern European speaking applicants and immigrants with valid work Authorization (EAD). Paid Training Hands-on training provided Training duration: 1-2 weeks (5-10 days) $400 training payment issued after you begin working in the field Why Join Us? Above-market pay rates Long-term work opportunities Flexible independent contractor structure Fast start in the telecom industry Support with tools and onboarding No experience necessary — we train from scratch Duties & Responsibilities Install, maintain, and troubleshoot fiber optic and cable communication systems Perform residential and/or commercial service installations Run and secure cable lines according to company standards Test signal quality and ensure proper equipment functionality Communicate professionally with customers during service appointments Safely transport and use ladders and installation equipment Maintain accurate job completion records and reports Follow all company safety procedures and industry regulations Work independently while managing daily routes and assignments Maintain punctuality, professionalism, and productivity in the field Skills & Requirements Required Qualifications Valid EAD (Work Authorization) Valid Driver's License (DL) Valid SSN Basic English communication skills Ability to pass a background check and drug test Readiness to begin work quickly Willingness to commit to long-term work Ability to complete hands-on training Vehicle Requirements Applicants must have access to one of the following: Minivan SUV Truck Cargo Van Vehicle must be capable of transporting a 28-foot ladder . Insurance Requirements As an Independent Contractor working with Real Future Communication LLC, technicians are required to maintain the following insurance coverage: 1.
General Liability Insurance Minimum Coverage:
$1,000,000 2. Workers' Compensation OR Occupational Accident Insurance Contractors must carry 1 of the following:

$1,000,000 Applicants should be prepared to provide proof of active insurance coverage prior to beginning field work. Insurance can be purchased and process can be initiated as Candidate is onboarded and trained. Preferred Qualifications Existing Sole Proprietor LLC or independent contractor business setup Prior cable, telecom, fiber optic, or low-voltage experience Ownership of basic technician tools Self-motivated and reliable work ethic Strong problem-solving abilities Comfortable working outdoors and in varying weather conditions Tools are preferred, but we can assist qualified candidates with obtaining a starter tool kit.
Pay:
$1,500.00 - $4,000.00 per week
