Position Summary The mission of the Quality Superintendent is to create and drive World Class corporate performance through quality achievement recognized by the accreditations platforms and to ensure all accreditations are registered, documented, achieved, continuously improved, (re)certified and renewed. The role is the inspector is to ensure corporate
ISO 9001
2015 quality management system (QMS), AISC certifications, and ASME certifications. The role is responsibleto ensureall employees are properly trainedoninstallation practices, corporate processes and procedures, and are prepared to be audited if called upon by the relevant accrediting agency.. Role Responsibilities Create and implement on site quality control systems and programs. Train employees to meet established standards. Responsible for system monitoring, management and accountability to site wide quality systems on the project. Responsible for assessingcorporate conformance to the Quality Management System (QMS). Assist with all inspection and testing services provided by RK. Monitor installation activities relating to client expectations of the company. ReportQMS progress, activities, and observations to Quality Manager. Review plans and installation to ensure that it meets building codes, local ordinances and zoning regulations. Monitor construction sites/fabrication facilities to ensure overall compliance. Use survey instruments, testing equipment, and other systems to ensure that product meets code and requirements. Verify alignment, level, and elevation of products. Keep daily logs, including photographs taken during inspection. Provide written feedback related to the findings. Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent. Proficient/Licensed in all trades 10+years of Constructionexperience and high level of expertise in steel and hydronic piping. Extensive knowledge of code requirements. CWI and ICC certifications are preferred. iAuditor/FTQ 360/BIM 360 proficient understanding and execution Ability to provide indirect supervision and guide team performance Strong documentation capabilities, including weld mapping and testing record oversight Proficiency in blueprint reading and interpreting technical specifications Solid understanding of Quality Management Systems (QMS) and testing procedures Excellent communication and professional writing skills Strong conflict management and customer service capabilities Intermediate computer proficiency Ability to work independently, applying sound judgment in adapting and interpreting standards Effective problemsolving skills with the ability to develop innovative solutions Thorough knowledge of internal and external acceptance criteria Ability to selfmanage most assignments and seek guidance only on complex issues Competence in calibration execution and documentation Experience generating Corrective Action Reports (CAR), conducting root cause analysis (RCA), analyzing quality data, and developing preventive actions Active participation in QMS audits and strong familiarity with QMS accreditation requirements Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) preferred Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles Strong troubleshooting capabilities for manufacturing and quality issues Ability to design, lead, and deliver training programs for internal teams Management training experience Internal auditor and lead auditor training preferred Capability to train and certify personnel across all special processes Commitment to attending and adhering to manufacture recommendedtrainings Minimum Physical Requirements and Accountability Work outside, inside, and in dusty, noisy and hazardous areas. Work in high places, tight places, confined spaces and/or other adverse locations. Climb, balance, squat, kneel and crouch. Work in all types of weather.
