A Non-Destructive Testing Specialist uses ultrasonic, electromagnetic, thermal or liquid penetration tests to check structures or materials for cracks, defects or signs of corrosion. May work on large structures such as bridges, dams or pipelines, or check vehicles such as aircraft. Interprets and reports on test results that include images and measurements; maintains and calibrates equipment.

4pm-12:30am About us: At Advantage TerraFab, we pride ourselves on delivering top-quality steel products to our clients. Our state-of-the-art facility specializes in custom steel fabrication, and we're seeking a skilled Quality Control/Certified Welding Inspector to ensure our work meets the highest industry standards.
Job Responsiblities:
Conduct thorough inspections of welded components to ensure compliance with AWS, AISC, and project-specific standards. Perform visual, dimensional, and non-destructive testing. Verify material certifications, weld procedures, and welder qualifications. Document inspection results, prepare detailed reports, and maintain accurate records. Collaborate with production teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions. Ensure adherence to safety protocols and quality control processes.
Qualifications:
Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) preferred but not required. Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality control, welding inspection, fitter position, fabrication or manufacturing environment. Proficiency in reading blueprints, welding symbols, and technical specifications. Knowledge of NDT methods and industry standards (AWS D1.1, ASME, etc.) Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with team members. Familiarity with fabrication processes, including cutting, forming, and welding, is a plus.

$20.00 - $35.00 per hour
