- Aerospace Parts Manufacturing Did you recently graduate from a Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) program and looking to grow your NDT Career?
Primary Purposes:
A Penetrant Line Operator I uses Non-Destructive Treatment (NDT) techniques on titanium castings for the aerospace industry; specifically, the use of liquid penetrant solution. An X-Ray Reader will interpret radiographic images and document results in accordance with established technique cards, develop shooting techniques as required, calibrate equipment, and train X-Ray Shooters as needed.Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist in Penetrant inspection functions including calibration, testing, and inspection. Help X-Ray shooters and inspectors process and inspect parts. Monitor cleaning equipment. Other Non-Destructive Testing duties as assigned.Minimum Qualifications and Experience:
Applicant must be part of a technical education program in Non-Destructive Testing- in their first or second year, or recently graduated.
Working Conditions:
Exposure to dust, dirt, heat, cold, noise, and vibration. The job is under manufacturing working conditions; exposure to any or all of the mentioned elements is likely, with at least one present to the extent of being disagreeable.Schedule:
Weekend Days (3 X 12 Friday- Sunday) $1.
