In this role, you will ensure that all surface preparation, environmental conditions, and coating applications comply with project specifications, industry standards, and safety regulations. The ideal candidate has strong technical knowledge of corrosion control, structural steel or concrete substrates, and excellent documentation skills. Core Responsibilities Inspect surface preparation (abrasive blasting, chemical cleaning) and coating applications for compliance with project specifications. Monitor and record environmental data including ambient temperature, relative humidity, dew point, and substrate temperature. Perform non-destructive and destructive testing, including dry film thickness (DFT) checks, holiday detection, and adhesion testing. Identify, document, and report coating defects, non-conformances, or deviations from project specifications. Maintain detailed, daily inspection reports, logs, and photo documentation to support quality assurance. Collaborate closely with project managers, site engineers, and coating contractors to resolve technical issues safely and efficiently.
