NDT Inspector - Ultrasonic Testing Confidential Pittsburgh, PA Job Details Full-time | Contract $60,403.20 - $73,528.00 a year 8 hours ago Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance 401(k) Paid time off Vision insurance Life insurance Qualifications Microsoft Outlook Non-destructive testing Basic math Personal protective equipment (PPE) adherence High school diploma or GED Safety equipment NDT Level II Instrumentation-based inspection Full Job Description NDT Inspector, Level II Industrial Testing Laboratory Services is a local, independent testing laboratory located in Pittsburgh; ITLS has been a leader in non-destructive testing services in the Pittsburgh region since 1959 and provides metallurgical, nondestructive and mechanical testing services primarily to component manufacturers supporting the defense industries. We are currently looking for (1) NDT Inspector, Level II to join our company who is willing to learn, adapt and grow with Industrial Testing Laboratory Services. Job Functions;
  • Maintain safe, secure and healthy working environment, adhering to company safety standards
  • Performs all duties as assigned
  • Assists senior technician
  • Performs duties assigned by the senior technician and/or Department Manager
  • Maintains NDT certifications while pursuing advanced certifications in multiple testing methods
  • Performs NDT inspections for which certified
  • Interprets and reports results of inspections and maintains documentation of inspection activities. Job Qualifications;
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Basic math and comprehension skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work in Microsoft Office Suite (Office, Outlook, Excel)
  • Experience utilizing technology as part of job function
  • Previous experience in NDT field as a certified technician in UT, Ultrasonic Testing (Required) Must provide documentation of required training hours and experience.
  • Previous Certification to Level II in a minimum of one method (MT, UT, RT, PT) (Preferred)
  • Travel requirement; 0-25%
  • Ability to handle chemicals in a safe manner May work alone with minimal supervision or with other personnel Proficient while working in a fast-paced team environment Work Environment;
  • Position is based out of either the main office in Pittsburgh, PA
  • Working Hours are 6:30 AM to 4:30 PM
  • Must be able to wear all necessary safety equipment as defined in company policy
