Job Description

Non-Destructive Testing Technician We are hiring a Non-Destructive Testing Technician II position for our laboratory in Pittsburgh, PA. This position is responsible for the performance of testing and administration of key groups within the non-destructive testing division.
Key responsibilities:
Performance of assigned non-destructive testing. Prioritize and delegate testing services in accordance with company policy. Development of NDE procedures, technical data sheets and addendums. Read, interpret and perform testing in accordance with provided drawings. Verify accuracy of all written reports prior to delivery. Properly maintain all records and historical data. Review and respond to customer RFQ in a timely manner. Manage professional relationship and customer service. Drive performance goals and turn-around. Coaching and developing team members. Track and monitor professional development. Foster positive customer relationships and generate new leads. Overall responsibility for financial objectives and reporting. Other duties as assigned by company ownership.
Physical Requirements & Environmental Conditions:
Must be capable of lifting up to 60 lbs. Exposed to seasonal temperature changes Manufacturing environment with heat, noise, dust, and vibration
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate degree preferred Minimum 4 years of industry experience. Knowledge and experience with the following standards:
MIL-STD-2132, T9074-AS-G1B-010/271, SNT-TC-1A, ASTM
Standards, ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code AWS Standards, 250-1500-1 Experience in Liquid Penetrant & Magnetic Particle testing in accordance with ASNT (minimum) Certified in a minimum of (2) of the following examination methods; Radiographic, Visual, Liquid Penetrant, Magnetic Particle, Ultrasonic.
