A Non-Destructive Testing Specialist uses ultrasonic, electromagnetic, thermal or liquid penetration tests to check structures or materials for cracks, defects or signs of corrosion. May work on large structures such as bridges, dams or pipelines, or check vehicles such as aircraft. Interprets and reports on test results that include images and measurements; maintains and calibrates equipment.

Weld Inspector Details:
Direct Hire position $68,640.00 to $76,960.00 /annually First Shift (Monday through Friday from 06:00am to 04:00pm) Lead weld quality inspections and ensure structural fabrication meets AWS codes, customer specifications, and project requirements. Inspect coating quality, surface preparation, dry film thickness, adhesion, holiday testing, and cure schedules. Review WPS/PQRs, welder qualifications, NDT results, material certifications, and quality documentation. Manage ITPs, NCRs, corrective actions, and quality records from incoming materials through final shipment. Serve as the primary quality contact for customers, third-party inspectors, DOT inspectors, and internal fabrication teams.
Weld Inspector Qualifications:
AWS Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) certification REQUIRED, with 5+ years of structural steel fabrication and/or coating quality control experience. Strong knowledge of AWS D1.1 and/or D1.5 welding codes, with the ability to interpret blueprints, fabrication drawings, and welding symbols. Experience with NDT methods, weld inspection, coating inspection, and interpretation of testing results. Strong understanding of quality management systems, including ITPs, NCRs, corrective actions, and quality documentation. Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively with customers, third-party inspectors, DOT inspectors, and internal teams;
NACE/AMPP
