In this role, you will be responsible for performing non-destructive testing techniques to evaluate the integrity and safety of materials and components, primarily within oil & gas, manufacturing, and engineering testing environments. Your expertise will ensure that products meet stringent quality control and quality assurance standards, adhering to industry codes such as ASME standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your mechanical knowledge, interpret technical drawings and schematics, and utilize a variety of testing methods including ultrasonic testing, radiographic testing (RT), magnetic particle inspection (MPI), penetrant testing, and X-ray inspection techniques. Your work will directly contribute to maintaining the highest safety protocols and quality standards across our operations. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive non-destructive testing using ultrasonic, radiographic (RT), magnetic particle (MPI), penetrant, and X-ray inspection techniques to identify flaws or defects in materials and components. Interpret mechanical blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately to determine inspection requirements. Utilize hand tools, specialized equipment, and software such as Microsoft Office for data collection, analysis, and reporting of test results. Perform equipment testing and calibration to ensure compliance with ASME codes & standards and safety protocols. Document inspection findings thoroughly through detailed reports, photographs, and logs for quality control records. Collaborate with engineering teams during manufacturing processes to support quality assurance initiatives and improve testing procedures. Adhere strictly to safety protocols during all testing activities to maintain a safe working environment. Qualifications Proven experience in non-destructive testing techniques especially radiographic testing (RT) Additional experience in non-destructive testing techniques such as ultrasonic testing, magnetic particle inspection (MPI), penetrant testing. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately. Proficiency in data collection, analysis skills, and reporting using Microsoft Office tools. Knowledge of ASME codes & standards relevant to non-destructive testing procedures. Ability to operate hand tools safely and effectively in a manufacturing or testing environment. Excellent attention to detail with strong problem-solving skills for equipment testing and analysis tasks.
