What they do
A Non-Destructive Testing Specialist uses ultrasonic, electromagnetic, thermal or liquid penetration tests to check structures or materials for cracks, defects or signs of corrosion. May work on large structures such as bridges, dams or pipelines, or check vehicles such as aircraft. Interprets and reports on test results that include images and measurements; maintains and calibrates equipment.

- $60,523.00 per 9 months Open Date 11/10/2025 Close Date Open Until Filled No Effective Date of Employment 08/18/2025 Position Summary Information Job Description Summary Provide Instruction in various Nondestructive Testing ( NDT ) methods. This will be taught using a combination of Lab, Lecture, and modeling . Training will be in accordance with ASNT's SNT
- TC-TC1A and National Aerospace Standard NAS
- 410.
- Associate of Applied Science degree in Non-Destructive Testing ( NDT ).
- A minimum of five (5) years of documented work experience in the field.
- Level II certification in one or more NDT processes.
- OR•A minimum of eight (8) years of documented work experience in the field.
- Level II certification in one or more NDT processes.
