  • $60,523.00 per 9 months Open Date 11/10/2025 Close Date Open Until Filled No Effective Date of Employment 08/18/2025 Position Summary Information Job Description Summary Provide Instruction in various Nondestructive Testing ( NDT ) methods. This will be taught using a combination of Lab, Lecture, and modeling . Training will be in accordance with ASNT's SNT
  • TC-TC1A and National Aerospace Standard NAS

Del Mar College offers training in five different NDT disciplines: Liquid Penetrant, Magnetic Particle, Eddy Current, Radiography and Ultrasonic. Instructor shall have a working knowledge of all 5 inspection techniques. Canidiates for this posting must be willing to obtain Level-II certification in all five disciplines. Required Job Knowledge, Skills, Abilities Basic knowledge of various inspections techniques. Ability to complete an Inspection with less than normal supervision. Locate, interrupt and apply technique data. Have excellent verbal communication skills. Minimum Qualifications
  • Associate of Applied Science degree in Non-Destructive Testing ( NDT ).
  • A minimum of five (5) years of documented work experience in the field.
  • Level II certification in one or more NDT processes.
  • OR•A minimum of eight (8) years of documented work experience in the field.
  • Level II certification in one or more NDT processes.
Preferred Qualifications Level III certification in one or more NDT processes. Willingness to pursue Level III certification in all NDT processes.
