•Friday, with Saturday availability required based on production needs. The Opportunity A premier metal fabrication plant in Fort Worth is hiring experienced MIG Welders for immediate positions. If you take pride in clean, high-quality welds and thrive in a high-volume production environment, we want to see what you can do on the torch.

Key Responsibilities Perform quality MIG welds on production components according to welding procedure specifications (WPS). Read and accurately interpret blueprints, tape measures, and weld symbols. Set up welding machines to match job-specific WPS guidelines. Inspect welds for defects (undercut, underfill, porosity, craters, or uneven leg size) to ensure structural integrity.

Requirements Experience:

Minimum 1+ year of MIG welding experience required (2+ years preferred).

Technical Skills:

Proficient in reading blueprints, weld symbols, WPS documents, and precision measuring tools.

Commute:

Must reside within 15-20 miles of the facility (~30-40 minute commute with traffic).

Schedule Flexibility:

Willingness to work extended 12-hour shifts and Saturdays based on production demands. Interview & Testing Process All candidates must undergo an in-person evaluation. Please bring your own

steel-toe boots, welding hood, gloves, and safety glasses. Written Exam (Pass mark: 70%+): Covers tape measure reading, blueprint interpretation, and weld symbols.

1G MIG weld test (Single V-Groove with backing). Evaluated on machine setup and visual defect inspection.

Bend Test:
