A Non-Destructive Testing Specialist uses ultrasonic, electromagnetic, thermal or liquid penetration tests to check structures or materials for cracks, defects or signs of corrosion. May work on large structures such as bridges, dams or pipelines, or check vehicles such as aircraft. Interprets and reports on test results that include images and measurements; maintains and calibrates equipment.

- API 653 Inspector Req #123 Houston, TX, USA Apply Share Job Description Posted Sunday, September 6, 2026 at 12:00 AM Description Summary Seeking an API 653 inspector to conduct Mechanical Integrity inspections on tanks.
- Expertise in multiple NDT methods and willingness to engage in ongoing learning and application of skills. Understand appropriate use of tools and equipment. Mechanical
- Intermediate mechanical knowledge and aptitude. Communication and Active Listening
- Strong verbal and written communication skills. Able to speak and write clearly. Giving full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, and asking appropriate questions. Able to Work a Demanding and Flexible Schedule
- Schedule is flexible but will mainly be 3 weeks traveling to projects across the midwest, and one week off. Per Diem will be paid out for days working/traveling! Weekly schedule will consist of 6 10 hour shifts. Physical Demands
- Able to frequently lift and carry objects up to 75 pounds on loose, rough or uneven terrain.
