Role Description The NDT Technician role at Turner Industries is a full-time, on-site position located in Point Comfort, TX. The technician performs non-destructive testing on industrial equipment, piping, and structural components to evaluate integrity and detect defects without causing damage to the materials. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing test areas, setting up and operating NDT equipment, interpreting test results, documenting findings in inspection reports, and communicating results to supervisors and quality control personnel. The role also involves adhering to strict safety and quality standards, following industry codes and client specifications, and working closely with other craft and inspection teams to support maintenance and construction activities. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong inspection skills, including experience with non-destructive testing methods. Candidates should possess quality control and inspection skills, including experience assessing corrosion and documenting findings against applicable standards. Candidates should possess a solid understanding of industrial safety practices, material properties, and basic mechanical concepts relevant to heavy industrial environments.
