You will play a pivotal role in shaping our inspection strategies, mentoring technical staff, and driving continuous improvement in our quality management systems. Responsibilities Author, refine, and maintain comprehensive NDE operating procedures and technical work instructions to ensure alignment with evolving industry standards. Oversee the administration of personnel training, examination, and certification programs in accordance with SNT-TC-1A and NAS410 guidelines. Mentor and develop NDE staff, conducting regular technical audits to verify proficiency and adherence to rigorous quality requirements. Provide expert technical guidance to internal engineering teams and external clients to optimize inspection planning and operational workflows. Lead the investigation of non-conformances, performing root cause analysis to implement effective corrective and preventive actions. Collaborate with production planning teams to integrate NDE requirements into project lifecycles, ensuring seamless operational support. Required Skills Current ASNT Level III certification in at least two NDE methods, preferably including MT, PT, or VT. Demonstrated experience documenting and maintaining NDE personnel certification records. Proven ability to interpret complex engineering drawings and technical specifications. Strong analytical skills for troubleshooting shop floor operational issues. Preferred Skills Experience participating in external customer or regulatory certification audits. Advanced knowledge of quality management systems in aerospace, defense, or nuclear sectors. Ability to obtain additional NDE method certifications as business needs evolve.
