ST PAY RATE
$80.00 per hour LV II, $86.00 Per hour LV III
LODGING
PER DIEM
$1,198 per week for eligible travelers

Multiple shifts available. Overtime and weekend work may be required.
POSITION SUMMARY
Saxon Aerospace is seeking experienced Aerospace NDT Level II Specialists to support aircraft production, delivery and component-fabrication operations in the Greater Seattle area.
Candidates must be currently or previously certified as an Aerospace NDT Level II in at least one of the following methods:
- Eddy Current Testing (ET)
- Ultrasonic Testing (UT)
- Radiographic Testing (RT)
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Set up, calibrate and operate NDT equipment.
- Perform inspections in accordance with approved procedures and customer requirements.
- Interpret indications and determine acceptance or rejection.
- Inspect completed aircraft, aircraft structures, components, and repairs.
- Document inspection results and communicate findings to Quality and Engineering.
- Maintain compliance with applicable aerospace quality and safety requirements.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
Experience with applicable manual, digital or automated inspection equipment is preferred. Systems may include
NORTEC, EPOCH
650, BondMaster, Yxlon, Hamamatsu, A-scan, C-scan, and Digital Detector Array equipment.
PHYSICAL AND WORK REQUIREMENTS
- Able to work around aircraft and manufacturing equipment, including confined spaces.
- Available for multiple shifts, overtime and weekends as needed.
- Must complete required safety, vision and customer-certification testing.
- RT personnel must follow all radiation-safety requirements.
COMPENSATION
- $80.00 per hour
- $1,198 weekly lodging per diem for eligible travelers
Per diem eligibility is subject to Saxon Aerospace's travel policy and applicable distance and permanent-residence requirements.
Requirements
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Current or previous Aerospace NDT Level II certification in ET, UT, or RT.
- Training and experience consistent with NAS-410 or an equivalent aerospace standard.
- Documented classroom training and OJT hours for the applicable method.
- Ability to independently perform inspections and interpret results.
- Experience reading engineering drawings, specifications, and NDT procedures.
- Aircraft or aerospace-component inspection experience.
- Ability to complete customer-specific testing and certification
