Frequency:

40 hours/week Pay rate: $55-70/hr (D.O.E.) Verify Inc. is seeking Certified Aerospace NDT Level II Inspectors to support aerospace-component inspection at various locations throughout the Greater Seattle area.

Responsible:

• Perform inspections completed aircraft structures, components, and repairs in accordance with approved procedures and customer requirements.
• Set up and calibrate equipment, conduct tests, and interpret, evaluate, and document results, in accordance with written techniques and procedures.
• Organize and document inspection results and use the applicable specifications, codes, standards and other contract documents to prepare procedures and techniques for Level III approval.
• Interpret inspection indications and determine whether results meet applicable acceptance criteria.
• Document inspection results and communicate findings to the NDT Level 3, Quality, and Engineering while maintaining compliance with applicable aerospace quality and safety requirements.

Qualification:

• High School Diploma required.
• Minimum of 5-10 years' relevant NDT experience. A combination of NDT experience and a technical degree in NDT will be considered.
• Training and experience consistent with NAS-410 or an equivalent aerospace standard.
• Documented proof of previous or current certifications in at least one of the following methods:
• Radiographic Testing (RT)
• Magnetic Particle (MP)
• Liquid Penetrant (PT)
• Eddy Current Testing (ET)
• Ultrasonic Testing (UT)
• Ability to independently perform inspections and interpret results. Experience reading engineering drawings, specifications, and NDT procedures.
• Aircraft or aerospace-component inspection experience as well as ability to complete customer-specific testing and certification.

Preferred Experience:

Experience with applicable manual, digital, or automated inspection equipment is preferred. Systems may include

NORTEC, EPOCH

650, BondMaster, Yxlon, Hamamatsu, A-scan, C-scan, and Digital Detector Array equipment.

Work Requirements:

• Able to work around aircraft and manufacturing equipment, including confined spaces.
• Available for multiple shifts, overtime and weekends as needed.
• Must complete required safety, vision and customer-certification testing.
• RT personnel must follow all radiation-safety requirements.
