Job Summary A specialized engineering services organization is hiring a Test Engineer for a long-term, on-site assignment in Bridgman, Michigan. This role supports nuclear project activities with a strong focus on high-voltage and system testing, commissioning, and procedure development. The Test Engineer will collaborate closely with engineering, construction, and client stakeholders to ensure safe, compliant, and effective startup and operational readiness of process systems. Responsibilities Facilitate communication between the client, owner, and regulators. Coordinate and resolve issues between engineering and construction teams to support project execution. Review and advise on corrective actions related to engineering, construction, and commissioning deficiencies. Prepare detailed startup plans to support functional testing of process systems. Develop and compile system turnover packages in accordance with project procedures, including review of system testing documentation. Review, create, and revise operations and maintenance procedures for nuclear projects. Evaluate proposed procedure changes to ensure accuracy, compliance with new requirements, and alignment with existing procedures. Qualifications Bachelor of Science in Nuclear, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or equivalent trade experience. 20+ years of applicable experience, including nuclear power plant construction, commissioning, initial plant operation, and procedure writing. Electrical engineering background preferred, with in-depth experience in testing and high-voltage systems. Proficiency with current standards for procedure preparation and requirements. Strong verbal, written, and presentation communication skills. Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective client relationships. Authorization to work in the United States is required; sponsorship is not available for this role. Additional Information This is an on-site role based in Bridgman, Michigan.
