Responsibilities:
Performance and/or review of MCNP and SCALE analyses for criticality safety, radiation protection and shielding, and isotopic inventories resulting from depletion/transmutation analyses associated with reactor operations. Development and/or review of nuclear safety documentation consistent with criteria, requirements, and standards for DOE and commercial applications. Perform work consistent with quality assurance procedures and processes for designated tasks, including required verification and validation of applied software.
Required Qualifications:
B.S. in nuclear engineering. A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience. Good verbal and written communication skills. Must be US citizen. Successful drug screening.
Location/Work Arrangement:
This position is available in Oak Ridge, TN, Idaho Falls, ID, and remote. Schedule is full-time, Monday - Friday 40 hours per week.
