You will work independently, or act as lead for a team of engineering technicians and engineers. You will observe execution of nuclear work and provide on-site technical support. You will prepare quality and detailed written technical direction to accomplish nuclear work from cradle to grave. You will evaluate critical attributes of assigned nuclear work and perform risk assessments. You will contact planning yards, prime contractors, or other technical authorities and proposed alternative methods of solutions, if requirements cannot be met. You will research and review source documents, engineering drawings, manuals, references, databases, guidelines instructions, regulation, standards, and other technical information to verify status and requirements.
