We have an outstanding Contract position for aMaterials Engineerto join a leading Company located in theSanta Rosa, CA surrounding area.

Pay Rate:

$55-$75 Hourly

•US Citizenship is required.

•Candidate must have the ability to obtain and maintain a Security Clearance.

Basic Hiring Criteria:

+ 10-15 years of experience in advanced thin film coatings.

+ Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Materials Science, Physics or related field.

+ Experience running the technical development and production of advanced thin-film-based technology solutions.

+ Strong collaborative team member that thrives in a dynamic technology environment

+ Previous leadership experience is a plus.

+ Experienced thin film materials and process engineer.

+ Extensive experience with sputtering and evaporation designs and processes to produce optical thin-film based products.

+ Can be involved in mentoring and training entry level engineers and manufacturing technicians.

+ Acts as primary technical contact to internal Program Managers for multiple projects.

+ Expertise using one or more thin film design tools such as TFCalc, OptiLayer, FilmStar, FilmWizard.

+ Competent with various advanced analytical and metrology tools.

+ Solid communication skill to support engagements with customers, vendors and colleagues at all levels within the organization.

+ Strong analytical and critical thinking skills: focus on driving disciplined, fact-based and data-driven decisions while executing with discipline and urgency. Benefits offered vary by contract.
